In our househunting escapades recently, John and I have been seeing lots of wood paneling — yes, we’re looking at older houses ;) That’s part of what led me to today’s D.A.D., A Toast!:
Plus, I love toast.
And also, we found a place… and we take possession in less than a month (!!!) . That definitely calls for a toast in my books!
How fitting that Serena’s Raise your glass print was just featured in a treasury called “I’ll Have Both Please”, curated by PAPERJoY:

Thanks, and cheers!

Our D.A.D. today goes out to Mrs. G. who wrote us all the way from Halifax with these suggested words, Dinosaur dig:

I know we already have a couple of dino pics in our collection but I couldn’t resist drawing these guys playing in their “sandbox”.

I’ve been thinking about the music I used to listen to as a kiddo recently… one album that never grew tired of was Anne Murray’s “There’s a Hippo in the Bathtub” — I used to belt out every word as that LP played over and over. Today’s D.A.D. is inspired by the title track:
As a weird fun fact, the record that came a close 2nd on my playlist at the time was “Perhaps Love”, a duet album with John Denver and Placido Domingo.
What was blaring over the speakers when you were a kid?

We love hearing your feedback!
