Drawing A Day #165: Monkey see, monkey do
They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery … so with that, I bring you today’s D.A.D., Monkey see, monkey do:
Have a good start of the (hopefully shorter) week!

This week’s donation was made by Jelica, a fellow Toronto artist whom I’ve never met but am very grateful to for contributing this lovely hand-made necklace made from mother of pearl beads, pink Swarovski crystals, and a lovely silver-plated pendant:
When I asked my friend Tracy (last week’s Feature Friday artist) if she could make a donation to The D.A.D. Project, she also enlisted Jelica, her friend and colleague, who has been making jewelry for friends and family for the past 3 to 4 years. Since her son left home this year to go to university, she has taken over his room and made it into a workroom to pursue her hobby.
Thanks Jelica, for your generosity and for donating this funky piece of jewelry – I hope to meet you one day to thank you in person!
For all of you who have a long weekend coming up, ENJOY!
Today’s D.A.D. is another inspired by my new little nephew … he’s not quite at the stage of running around and getting into things but soon enough, I’m sure the Pitter patter of little feet will be filling John and Em’s home:
Happy Thursday everyone!
We love hearing your feedback!
