I think a Magic carpet ride would be a great way to travel, as long as you had a bit more control of things:

I have to admit that I do feel a bit like bunny above (i.e. flying all over the place) – having just gotten back from the UK last week, I’m on my way to Ottawa tomorrow and plan to be back there again in May to finally meet my little niece/nephew … I can’t wait!
