Feature Friday #7: Handmade greeting card set by Wanda Woods

July 23rd, 2010

Our Friday donation this week is a set of 4 handmade and stamped cards, by Wanda Woods of Toronto. A few years ago, Wanda took a card-making class and the rest is history – she’s been making her own cards ever since. I’ve been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of many of her small works of art and always marvel over the care and detail she puts into each one.

When she’s not making her cards, you’ll find Wanda training for her next half-marathon (power walking), hula hooping, Latin dancing , checking out a new show at the theatre or just reading a book from her library.

She feels a strong connection to The D.A.D. project and The Canadian Cancer Society as her own father passed away from bone cancer 7 years ago this past July.

Thanks Wan, for being so enthusiastic about being part of our project!
