Drawing A Day #30: Standing out in a crowd
July 27th, 2010
Em’s D.A.D. yesterday was about the awkward stages that most of us go through growing up. I definitely had my moments: braces, glasses that fit over half of my face, big permed hair and the matching poofy bangs, spindly legs and knocked knees (hey, I still have these …).
I guess today’s D.A.D. can be, as Em put it, growing into your own skin and being comfortable with it. Or, being different and being cool with it.
Here’s Standing out in a crowd:
Those are some seriously wooly sheep!

“The giraffe’s tongue is long and gray.
No one wants a kiss from a giraffe.
Except Stanley.”

Dear C,
You are weird. But I like you. Thanks for making me recall Ogden Nash… :)
