Drawing A Day #166: Kitty litter

May 26th, 2011

Today’s D.A.D., Kitty litter, is dedicated to all you cat owners out there:

Kitty Litter

I bet you wish that your feline was this helpful when cleaning up after himself … I’ve witnessed Marc changing the cat’s litter box enough times to know that it would be pretty sweet to have the cat take care of his own business!

Drawing A Day #41: Purr-fect fit

August 16th, 2010

People have such strong feelings about pet ownership — whether you’re a dog- or a cat-person; what breed is the best; if you make your pet wear sweaters or booties…

Today’s drawing came out of having recently met one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever come across. Plus, I thought I’d draw a positive image of a cat lady, since cat ladies tend to get a bad rap. Plus, they say that dog owners tend to look like their pets, so I wondered if the same could be the case for a cat owner. And here you have the culmination of all these arbitrary thoughts — Purr-fect fit:

‘Course, if I did this with a cat, I’d break out into a wicked case of hives… guess I’ll never be a hip cat lady! :)

Have a great week!
